Community Enterprise Foundation™ has launched the Bayswater CFA Volunteer Fire Brigade Appeal.
The Bayswater CFA Appeal has been launched to raise funds for a Slip-On tanker to improve the fire fighting capabilities of the Bayswater Fire Brigade. The slip-on will enable quicker response times, provide greater access and ensure the brigade can get to emergencies substantially faster.
From humble beginnings (a tarp that sheltered the first fire truck) to the current facilities the Bayswater CFA provide fire protection to the eastern suburbs of Melbourne. The Brigade's primary response area extends east from Wantirna Road to Colchester Road and south from Dandenong Creek to Boronia Road
Consisting of 68 volunteer members supported by a full time Brigade Administration Support Officer and a Catchment Officer, by ensuring the Bayswater CFA have up to date, practical and relevant equipment means they are able to provide the best possible service to protect the community of Bayswater and surrounding areas
